The basic philosophy of Information Technology has been to take the rapid advances being made in the computer science and communication engineering closer to the common man in making his life easier and comfortable in this fast paced world. Entry to the under graduate program in Information Technology requires a thorough fundamental knowledge in applied physics and mathematics to help gain knowledge in the later courses which include data structures, digital logic design, operating system, various programming techniques, software engineering, networks programming, mobile communications, artificial intelligence, image processing, multimedia application development, virtual reality and various other advanced courses. The faculty for IT at Visvodaya Engineering College is well experienced and many of them have also been in the IT industry. This makes IT teaching faculty at Visvodaya Engineering College truly unique. Well equipped laboratories, good collection of text and reference books, national and international journals provide the right ambience to the prospective students in their quest for knowledge. The AICTE approved intake of the department is 60.
