Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the core engineering professions responsible for all the sophistication and giant advancements made in almost every walk of life. The design and development of sophisticated electronic equipments from domestic appliances to high precision instrumentation for all the industries, biomedical needs, weather prediction and spacecrafts could never have been possible without this engineering. A thorough conceptual knowledge of applied physics and advanced mathematics is given in the initial course work and some of the later courses include control systems, microprocessors, signal engineering, VLSI, microwave engineering, radar systems, electronic measurements and instrumentation, cellular and mobile communications, and satellite communications. Visvodaya Engineering College has not left any stone unturned in attracting some of the most experienced faculty. The Electronics and Communication Engineering department has excellent laboratories and the central library has good number of national and international journals apart from the huge collection of carefully selected text and reference books.The AICTE approved intake of the department is 120.
